HOW TO GET THERE

You can fly to Barbados or St Lucia. British Airways and Virgin both have regular direct flights. Most flights arrive in the early afternoon and you need to get a small plane to Mustique. There is a daily scheduled service which costs approx. US$200 each way or you can charter your own plane.

To find out prices and arrange the connection flight, email Debbie Charles at the Mustique Company on dcharles@mustique.vc or go to www.svgair.com

Planes cannot land in Mustique after sunset, so, if your flight is very delayed you might have to stay the night in Barbados.  You should ensure that you include in your hand baggage overnight things and swimwear just in case your luggage gets delayed at Barbados airport.  Don't worry, it will usually follow you to Mustique the next day!

At Barbados, you will see someone holding your name on a board, or go into the right hand building marked ‘connecting flights’. There is no need to go through immigration as you are 'in transit’, however you still have to fill out the immigration form they give you on the plane. The airline will find your luggage for you and ask you to wait.

Winston will meet you at the airport in Mustique and take you up to the house. If for any reason, nobody is there, dial the staff at the house on 8570.

GETTING AROUND THE ISLAND

Grasshopper has two vehicles for your use which are called Mules. These are like beach buggys.

Anyone who wants to drive must bring their Driving Licence and buy a Mustique Driving Licence on arrival at the airport.
